The group I play with use octogonal sets. Does any one have experience drilling with both  types of kubbs?which do you prefer? why? Thanks

I have never thrown an 8-sider, but now I'm gonna hafta make an octo-kubb just to see what the difference is.

I've never played with an octogonal set.  Since all of the tournaments and leagues I play with use the square OTG competition sets, thats what I practice with.

Good point.I learned the game on a OTG competition set. I just  have not played with one since I learned  proper drilling technique . If any of us New Yorkers ever head west for a tourney we'll have to start practicing with the competition set.

Octokubbs? This is madness. I like my Kubbs with 4 sides and only 4 sides. What's next, round Kubbs!
